Final Pilot of Real World, Real Science Modules

Last week, August 13-15, more than twenty Maine teachers got a walk-through of the new Lab Venture experience, and then had an orientation to four of the new Real World, Real Science curriculum modules: the Lab Venture Recap; the Shape of Change; Forest Ecosystem: Ticks & Lyme Disease; and Marine Ecosystem: Lobsters & Black Sea Bass. These teachers will be piloting these materials in their classrooms in the coming school year, and will be the focus of our summative research and evaluation effort on the project.
